Let us introduce you to some of the brilliant artisans of Khara Kapas.

Meet Tannu Aunty, a 37-year-old Artisan behind the wondrous pieces created at Khara Kapas.
She joined us six years ago and has been working here ever since. Every morning Tannu Aunty wakes up early, finishes her household chores, pack lunch for her kids and walks for about 30 minutes to the workstation.
She believes in living life on her own terms. From juggling between sleepless nights to early mornings she has struggled her way to support her family.
The Team sat with Tannu Aunty to see what makes her tick...
We’d love to know more about you and what you enjoy doing. Let’s start with your family. Tell us about them…
We are a small family of 5, I live with my husband and three loving kids, They second my decisions and encourage me to keep working and doing what I love!
What do you enjoy most about being part of the Khara Kapas team?
I am surrounded by extremely talented people and every day I learn something new.
What impact has being a part of Khara Kapas had on you and your family?
Working at Khara Kapas has changed my life, I feel more independent and confident. I am able to contribute to my family’s income. This means a lot to me. I am very grateful for what I have and am able to do. I hope in the future I can scale up my impact even more.
When are you happiest?
I am the happiest when I’m with my family. I look forward to our dinners together. Also, making kheer and biriyani for my kids gives me immense joy.
Mrs Tannu is our pride. We support and encourage people who are ready to bring a change and break the contrivance of society. She is an inspiration to everyone around her.
The only way to create great things every day is with great people who love their job. The idea is to enlighten freedom and unity through the diversity of who we are.
We are a team because we respect, trust and care for each other.
